Ontra Mobility Announces Partnership with Madera Metro

MADERA, CAOctober 9, 2025 – Madera Metro today announced a collaboration with Flexlynqs, Ontra Mobility, and Southwest Strategies Group to conduct a microtransit feasibility study aimed at delivering a more convenient, reliable, and rider-centered transit experience for the community.

The initiative will evaluate how on-demand service can complement existing routes, shorten wait times, and better connect riders to jobs, schools, healthcare, and daily needs across Madera.

Flexlynqs will lead the project, Ontra Mobility will provide its planning platform to model service scenarios and forecast demand, and Southwest Strategies Group will lead community outreach.

Building on recent investments in shelters, fleet, and the new Transit Center, the study will deliver clear, actionable recommendations and a phased plan to expand mobility while being fiscally responsible.

Work is scheduled to begin in Q4 2025 with multiple opportunities for community input throughout the process.
